Hedge Laying

I offer hedge laying services throughout Cumbria and County Durham. Hedges can be laid in Midland bullock or Westmorland styles. The former results in a neat, woven near side and a far side where the brash protects any new growth. The latter style produces a laid hedge with brash laying either side of the hedge.

Laying a hedge is a traditional technique used to revitalise and manage a hedge, it's good for the hedge and wildlife. For more information about hedge laying, see my previous post here.
